Newest Paul Harris Recipient
On October 29, the club was honored when District Governor Jim Crane presented Jackie Stevens with her Paul Harris +3. Jackie has been a member of Rotary for more than 30 years and she is instrumental in the club for "getting things done". She is very active in all club projects and believes whole heartedly in our motto of Service Above Self. Thank you, Jackie, for all that you do on behalf of Rotary.

Is she really hard at work???
Choo Choo!
October 25 was a perfect fall day (albeit a bit windy) for the annual Pumpkin Express, complete with train rides. The train conductor informed the club that more than 600 community residents, adults and children alike, rode the train that day.
The 1st & 3rd Wed of each month our breakfast mtg is at 7am at the Clarion Hotel in Elmira. The 4th Wed of the month we start with cocktails at 5:30pm with dinner at 6pm at the Clarion. The 2nd Wed of the month is our social event in the community.
It's that time of the year again when the club is reaching out to all local businesses, families and friends, banks and churches for our annual fundraiser. Orders may be placed for red, white or marble poinsettias and the cost is $13. This is a very easy fundraiser for us. We sell 400 plants and we do well! See Melissa for an order form if you would like to assist with this project.
